Probiotics and their role in your organism

Probiotics and their role for our health
Did you know that we have billions of bacteria in our digestive tract? The intestinal flora in our digestive tract is composed of different bacteria species that colonise the intestinal mucosa, living in symbiosis with our organism.
It is important to have a balanced intestinal flora, because good bacteria play numerous roles. Good bacteria ensure healthy intestinal transit, prevent the overgrowth of already existing bad bacteria, stimulate the synthesis and absorption of beneficial substances such as vitamins K and B-group vitamins and, last but not least, stimulate the immune system.
During the lifetime, our intestinal flora changes according to many factors. Stress, lifestyle, diet, hygiene and especially antibiotic treatments can affect intestinal flora in a long term.

Many times it happens to take a treatment with antibiotic at the recommendation of the prescribingphysician. When fighting infections, antibiotics destroy bad bacteria getting the victory, but as a result of the victorious fight of the antibiotics, good bacteria are also affected and our intestinal flora is unbalanced. A single oral antibiotic treatment destroys the composition and diversity of intestinal flora for months and even up to one year in many cases. The intestinal flora imbalance involves symptoms such as bloating, abdominal discomfort, growling stomach and even diarrhea. The antibiotic-associated diarrhea appears up to about 25% of people who are being treated with antibiotics.
A solution for restoring the intestinal flora affected by antibiotics and reducing the occurrence of diarrhea associated with antibiotic treatment, would be to associate a probiotic in order to balance the created imbalance.
Lacidar brand products are multi-strain preparations with carefully selected probiotic strains.
- This increases the chance of good bacteria matching to the host's gut flora.1
- Each strain of bacteria has unique properties, which allows for a wider spectrum of action of a multi-strain preparation than that of a single-strain preparation.1
- Strains in a multistrain preparation can enhance each other's effects.1
In addition, the bacterial strains contained in Lacidar products are characterized by high vitality and the ability to effectively colonize the gastrointestinal tract, helping to replenish and enrich the intestinal microflora with bacteria.
Due to the good survival of bacteria contained in the gastrointestinal tract, Lacidar preparations are especially recommended in order to intensively replenish the intestinal bacterial flora during and after antibiotic therapy.
Lacidar is a brand for your family!
